"But please, please, I beg you..." She tugged at his scarf once again, still refusing to let go. "It is for home. Please..." He turned his head to look down at her as he kept on walking. "I already told you. There is no postage on that letter. I cannot deliver it without a stamp." His voice was firm as before, but on the inside he felt like a monster for refusing the letter of a little girl whom he knew would never have the money to get the stamp for her letter home....
